I used Creata bronze mirror card topped with a leaf pattern that I found on the internet, changed colour and printed on to paper as my backing. The digi I printed on to water colour card and coloured using Promarkers, Almond, Blush, Vanilla, Buttercup, Sandstone, Tan, Meadow Green, Mint Green, Crimson and Red. I edged the topper with Creative Expressions Enchanted Gold and Vintage Golden Green metalic guilding wax, then topped on to more Creata bronze mirror card and die cut using Spellbinders Scalloped Circle and Circle dies. The leaves I cut out using Joy Crafts leaf die and to finish I used flowers, brads, jewels and glitter from my stash. The sentiment topper I made up on word printed and cut out using Stampin' Up oval punch and topped on to Creata mirror card again die cut from Stampin' Up scalloped oval punch.

Hope this has given you some inspiration to get your creative juices flowing and to pop over and play along with our next challenge. Would love to see what you create!

"Plain Jane"

Hi everyone....another little post from me today, can't believe 3 in one day....lol...it's been all go over the weekend....still 'hopping' around in my lovely air boot...1 week down, 3 to go!! Anyway I'm here to show you my take for the 'Plain Jane' Challenge over at The Stamping Chef's Facebook page. I so love all these fabulous images created by the equally fabulous and talented Tamara Van Wijk. Thank you so much Tamara for being so kind hearted by giving us the digi free to enter your challenge, you are a gem!

For the backing, I have used Creata grey mirror card and sanded back to reveal silver underneath, topped it with Creata cloud like backing card. The digi I coloured using Promarkers, Azure, Soft Green, Bright Green, Antique Pink, Vanilla, Lemon, Almond and Blush. Because of her name 'Plain Jane', I thought she looked quite like one of the WW2 Airforce 'Pin-Ups' so based my project around that, using the cloud effect backing card and found a picture of a model Lancaster Bomber online to add as a topper. I printed her name on hammered card from my stash at cut out using Joy Craft cloud die....I finished off with flowers/leaves made from Creata mirror and backing card cut out again using Joy Craft dies, brads and gems!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and leaving such lovely comments!

I then cut out leaves from glitter paper from my stash using the Joy Craft leaf die that you can also purchase from Creata. To finish off I used flowers, brads and peel offs from my stash....
