'25th' Anniversary Card for Hubby

Hiya Folks, just sharing with you all, hubby's card I made for him for our recent 'Silver' wedding anniversary...I made it using Crafters Companion centura pearl card, Marianne winter birds die, All Occassions numbers XL die, Docrafts Forever Friends Classic Decadence adhesive domes, Spellbinders embossing folder and silver card, gems, peel offs and ribbon from my stash....

Christmas Wishes

Morning All....how are you all today? ... well that's my youngest back to school today in his 5th year, wow where have the years gone? It only seems like yesterday he was starting school for the first time!! ...
This morning I'm here with another wee DT sample for Delightful Digi's using 'Heart Frame' .... here is my finished project:-

Docrafts - Backing papers, Flower and Corner flourish dies, ribbon, brads, Forever Friends Classic Decadence glitter craft tape, buttons and adhesive domes
Promarkers - Pear green and Red
Flower Soft - Various colours
Indigo Blu - Gilding flakes
Kanban - Sentiment topper
Ranger - Liquid Pearls
  Creata - Mirror card

First of all I layered together, backing paper and mirror card on to 7x7 scalloped card blank. I printed the image out, coloured using Promarkers, I then gilded round the edges and added Flower Soft and Liquid Pearls for dimension!  I cut out flower and leaves using X-Cut dies, Papermania  'At Christmas Time' backing paper and gold card from my stash glued together and finished off with Papermania gold brad.  I also cut out corner flourish using X-Cut die and Creata mirror card in gold. To finish off I added Forever Friends 'Classic Decadence' glitter tape in gold, button and adhesive domes. Then finally Kanban sentiment topper... Hope you like the finished result!! New Challenge blog - Crafty Addicts

Morning Everyone, well first of all, I had a lovely day yesterday celebrating my Silver Wedding Anniversary with my hubby and our boys.....Feeling blessed and happy!!!
Now on to this morning, this sees the start of another fab challenge blog, The Crafty Addicts. We have two fantastic sponsors this month, they are:-

So on to my DT inspiration...here I have used the sentiment image ''Joys of the season'' by Inky ImpressionsHere is my finished creation, this can be used as either a card or a wall decoration:- 
Project

 First of all I die cut two layers of Spellbinders Grande decorative circles in gold and white card to make the base. I re-coloured the sentiment in gold and printed on to white card and cut out using circle die. I also cut out an X-Cut bauble die in gold card, trimming off the attached sentiment and layerd together with the image. I then die cut out Spellbinders Poinsettias in Papermania patterened vellum and gold card, Britania rose leaves, Spellbinders poinsettia leaves and Marianne pine branch in gold card. I arranged them all as above, finishing off with Paperamnia ribbon and brads. Here are more photos:-

1st Challenge at A Crafty Mess Challenge Blog

Morning Folks, hope you have all had a lovely weekend and all set for a great week ahead!!. Well how about a brand new monthly challenge blog to start with...so without further ado,  I'm showcasing my first DT sample for

The image I am showcasing is Mia. She is so cute...I first printed out image on to watercolour card and cut out using Spellbinders grande decorative ovals die, then coloured in with ProMarkers Almond, Sandstone, Tan, Mustard, Lilac, Soft Green, Pastel Pink, Ruby, Cardinal Red and Ice Grey 1. I highlighted the wings with Clear Wink of Stella and edged the topper with Gold Pan Pastel. I die cut another decorative oval in mirror card and placed image on top. For the base of my card I used Papermania Woodland backing paper on top of gold card. I placed contrasting paper, with green lace ribbon and Papermania bow across card, then finished off by adding various Prima flowers, skeleton leaves, gold leaves die cut using Britannia rose leaf die and gold card and gems and butterfly button.
